About Nancy

Nancy Webb Intagliata was a daughter, sister, mother, wife, and loving friend. She was born on August 4, 1952, to parents Lilburn and Mary Webb. She grew up in Affton, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, and lived with her parents, two sisters, Jan and Wendy, and brother Randy in the same three-bedroom house for the majority of her childhood. Her extended family never felt extended as her uncles, aunts, cousins, and grandparents were very much a part of her everyday life. Nancy remembered a balance of work and play and a balance of rules and laughter. But more than anything she remembered a lot of love.

In 1974 Nancy earned her college degree in elementary education at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  While at college she met and fell in love with her husband, Michael Intagliata.

Nancy and Mike welcomed three children into their family: Kimberly, Nicolas, and Adam. Mike’s job moved their family from St. Louis to Overland Park, Kansas, and eventually, in 1986, to Littleton, Colorado where they settled and remained.

Nancy spent the majority of her career in elementary education, specifically as a teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School in Littleton, Colorado, and at Cougar Run Elementary School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.  She always believed she loved children more than she taught them, because to her, loving them was more important than anything.

In 2011 Nancy was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer. Nancy spent over four years living with this disease. She demonstrated amazing strength and bravery while facing innumerable struggles. Nancy endured several surgeries and nine separate courses of chemotherapy treatments including several clinical trials. She leaned on a loyal circle of friends and family and held steadfast in her faith in God.

Nancy was, is, and will always be an inspiration to those whose lives she touched.

She is dearly missed but always loved. So very loved.
