The Award
At least one recipient will receive a cash gift of $2500 to use as he or she sees fit.
To qualify for this award, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Applicant must be employed at a school located in Douglas County (CO) or Littleton (CO). Both private and public school employees qualify.
- Applicant must complete the application and submit a personal statement (less than 1000 words) describing how he or she has been personally impacted by cancer. This impact can include a personal or loved one's diagnosis.
- Applicant must include the names of two references including one personal reference and one work reference from school of employment.
The Selection Committee
The Selection Committee will be composed of members of Nancy’s family (Michael Intagliata, Kimberly Danielson, Nicolas Intagliata, Jennifer Intagliata, Jim Intagliata, Randy Webb, and Adam Intagliata). The Committee will review the applications and determine the award recipient(s).
Important Dates
The annual application period is February 1 - March 31.
If support is needed outside this period, please contact us.
Applications are due on or before March 31, 2024. Late applications will not be considered.
Recipient(s) will be announced on or before May 15, 2024.
